TINYcon 2018 FAQs
1. Will WiFi be available during the conference?
Yes! You’ll be able to access WiFi throughout the event space. Details will be provided on site.
2. Are meals included in my conference pass?
Most meals will be provided during TINYcon, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Thursday, 9/13 and breakfast on Friday, 9/14. In addition, limited drinks will be provided at the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 9/12 and during Dine Around, and the After-Party Cruise on Thursday, 9/13. Coffee, water, and snacks will also be served throughout the days as well.

3. What do I need to know about transportation?
The Seattle Marriott Waterfront is centrally located in downtown Seattle about 20 minutes from SeaTac airport. For those who are flying in for the event, we recommend grabbing an Uber, Lyft or Yellow Cab from Seatac aiport. Alternatively, you can take the Link Light Rail from SeaTac Airport to Westlake station, which is a 15 minute walk from the Marriott Waterfront.
For attendees who will be driving to the event, the Marriott Waterfront has valet parking as well as self parking available. More information is available on the Seattle Marriott Waterfront website.
4. Is there a dress code at TINYcon or TINYcon events?
TINYcon and all planned events will be informal, and we suggest you wear whatever makes you comfortable. However, in our experience, most attendees will be dressed in business casual attire. Additionally, conference rooms can get chilly, so you may want to bring a warmer layer. You’ll also want to check the weather forecast for Seattle in advance.
5. Does it really rain THAT MUCH in Seattle?
Well, yes and no. While we have beautiful summers, fall and winters can be a bit drizzly. Most of the events will be taking place inside at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront, but you might want to pack a small umbrella for the walk from your Dine Around restaurant to the TINYcon after-party cruise.
6. What is the Dine Around Seattle event?
This dinner event will take place at some of Seattle’s top restaurants. A restaurant will be designated for each attendee. All restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk of the Grand Hyatt, and while we’ll be gathering to walk to the restaurants, you can also use alternative transportation if you prefer.
