David’s been a featured speaker at over 350 national and international events, covering topics from entrepreneurship to small business financing. In 2007, the Small Business Administration named him the National Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Puget Sound Business Journal named him one of the Top 40 Businesspeople Under 40. In both 2008 and 2009, he was a finalist for the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
In 2011, David co-authored a book called Making the Jump into Small Business Ownership and was honored as one of the Top 100 Small Business Influencers. He’s also a past president of the Seattle Entrepreneur Organization, which provides peer-to-peer learning opportunities for business leaders, and a former board advisor for Youth Ventures, a nonprofit helping teams of young people design and launch social-driven businesses. Today, he serves on the Regional Council for the Entrepreneur Organization, as well as on the board of Archbright, formerly Washington Employers, which is focused on helping its members elevate workplace performance through HR and legal support.
